These Spiritual Democrats Urge Their Party to Take a Leap of Faith
In a party that has grown less religious, some prominent Democrats say discussing their deepest beliefs can be a way to connect — when it’s authentic.

The United Church of Canada has fought for a woman’s right to birth control and abortion since 1923. We believe in science and teach evolution in Sunday School. I think Democratic politicians with strong religious beliefs should campaign on those beliefs.

When they stop getting big donor dollars.
Voters want a Democratic Party that fights back against the forces that have rigged the system and made their lives more difficult.
A party that comforts the afflicted and afflicts the comfortable —not a party that buckles and capitulates.
When will party leadership learn this lesson?

Yup. I said this earlier today, but it was only a guess. Thanks for confirming it. It is no coincidence that of the 8 who came forward to do this, none of them are running in 2026. But they ran cover for some who are.

Batteries are coming to Europe. Earlier this year Europe’s largest battery storage site went live at Blackhillock, Scotland.
The facility has a capacity of 300MW/600MWh.
Much larger batteries are under development: A huge 1 GW / 4 GWh system is being constructed in Jänschwalde, Germany.

A lot of theories about the Dem senate sell-out being motivated by the Dem’s concern for their own or constituents’ unhappiness about flight cancellations. But it’s far more likely it’s being motivated by airlines’ lobbying. This party doesn’t even care about middle class comfort, only corporate $$$
