Now that most of the country wants to abolish ICE, get ready for the goalposts to shift, so that abolish ICE becomes "reform ICE" as we get closer to the election. We have to continue pressure to make sure we really mean abolish, when we say it, otherwise we will be sold out.

If our standard for justice becomes “dump everything and let the internet sort it out,” we are not strengthening accountability. We’re degrading it into a spectacle.

Every time Trump praises Putin as wanting peace, Putin bombs the living shit out of Ukraine to make Trump look like the lying, compromised old fool that he is.
Isn't it time for Trump to send real tough negotiators to Moscow instead of pansy boy Jared b/c Putin devours weakness.

Trump is demanding $10 billion because a contractor (not an IRS employee) leaked some of his data.

OK, then. It seems only fair that each of the 300,000,000+ Americans whose personal tax and Social Security data was leaked by DOGE receive the same renumeration.

That's $300,000,000,000,000+.

In other words, appeal to hatred.

It's something being tried in Canada, too. But I think our multi-party Westminister parliamentary system is more robust to it. As well, we are not subject to:
(a) years-long election campaigns
(b) unlimited political donations
(c) rampant gerrymandering
