I'd take it a step further, because you can't actually hold "open ai" or "Google" accountable either. Whoever is making the most money from these companies should be personally responsible and there should be prison time for things like encouraging and causing suicide, violence, etc.
One of the biggest issues with the synthetic text extruding machines is that we have well-formed linguistic output with no accountability. Solution: OpenAI should be accountable for everything that comes out of ChatGPT, period. (And likewise for Google with Gemini, etc.)

Cancel subscriptions if you don't want to be paying for ai slop. Piracy is easy and free.
I should cancel my subscription for real & for good. The reason I've hung onto it as long as I have is because I'm grandfathered in to a really good plan + there are some shows & movies on there I watch regularly but I should figure out a way to have my own copies to watch locally anyway.

I called both my Senators- @alsobrooks.senate.gov & @vanhollen.senate.gov to try and get SOME…ANY explanation on their vote to ban hemp & THC and not only were they not available their assistants were condescending, rude, & dismissive. I regret supporting them & wish them the worst.

Why are we making things worse for no reason? Legalization has been great and made a huge difference for so many people. Also prohibition doesn't fucking work anyway

I completely do not understand why people get mad about the ending of Firewatch. It does everything it should do. Is it anticlimactic? Kinda, but that's also the point of the entire game. It wouldn't have worked nearly as well if it was some big conspiracy.

UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.
