This is a thousand years worth of Creative NZ government funding
our govt wants to spend 327 times more on a single road ($18b) than they are currently spending yearly on all of basic science in new zealand ($55m) #nzpol
The Northern Expressway we were told would cost $10 billion is now priced at $18 billion, or six times the Cook Strait crossing we were told was unaffordable. This is fantasy stuff. www.nzherald.co.nz/northern-adv...

I'm nearing the 15GB free limit in Gmail, and getting absolutely hammered by pop ups asking for money (me pay so they can mine my data better? I think not!) the last one had "buy now" or "clean up", with no way to bypass or skip! Talk about coercive dark patterns; they've optimised it to perfection!

The 'two languages confuse children' line is literally assimilationist shit from two generations ago that has been so massively debunked even as whole cohorts lost their mother tongues at school.

I'm so sorry and appauled. This is video evidence of a war crime, but there are so many more credible allegations of war crimes kept secret. What will it take for international action to stop the atrocities?
The video of Israel using silenced weapons to murder the 15 aid workers who are clearly in ambulances.

These are blatant War Crimes, Israel must be sanctioned and all aid cut off to them now.

While publications like The Spinoff struggle, disinfo outlet Reality Check Radio remains well funded. The future is grim if real journalism declines and fake news is what remains
