A phrase that came up about games today, about what makes them unique and why they're important. A different way to play. This is so essential for adults who are too often told that play is worthless when it's everything but.

Find your way to play. Cherish and cultivate it. We all deserve to play.

Writing a paper on Neoliberalism's role in perpetuating poverty, inequality and systemic social problems. The current state and the future of society looks so bleak, researching this paper has got me in a very negative headspace.

Time for a break.

The execution of Patrice Lumumba of Congo on 17 January 1961(?) is often described as the most significant assassination of the 20th century. Through his own words, I reflect on his life and death and the global participation in his horrific execution.

NEW STATEMENT | Keep UNRWA Alive in Gaza and the West Bank

New Israeli legislation, if fully enforced, would prevent the UN Relief and Works Agency from serving Palestinian refugees in the occupied territories.

Such a de facto ban would be disastrous.

This implies a passivity/innocence to Musk and Twitter that is simply not the truth. Twitter helped determine the US election not because it was “so influential” but because Musk abused the platform to misinform, spread conspiracy theories and weaponise hatred… to buy himself power.
