Defenceless under the night
Our world in stupor lies;
Yet, dotted everywhere,
Ironic points of light
Flash out wherever the Just
Exchange their messages:
May I, composed like them
Of Eros and of dust,
Beleaguered by the same
Negation and despair,
Show an affirming flame.

Historians believe the ‘Mini-polis’ or ‘small-city’ to be an allegorical or metaphorical place, possibly an agglomeration of several different cities, given the unlikelihood of so many significant events occurring rapidly in such a small place.

This is really disturbing. A person detained in the Everglades was handcuffed and left outdoors in the sun as punishment for attempting to go on a hunger strike. As mosquitoes swarmed him, he pleaded with guards to bring him inside and was kept outside for nearly three hours.

In a less imperfect world, Musk and Trump would be forever cast as killers of children, and this would be front-page news for months and the subject of Sunday sermons in every church.
NEW: The death shadow cast by Musk.

“When U.S.-supported soup kitchens were forced to close, babies starved quietly, their mothers said, while older siblings died begging for food.”

The world’s richest man did this to the world’s poorest children.

Don’t ever forget.
