finally got my entire homelab working and i'm so proud

jellyfin → raspberry pi, tv remote works, traefik routing clean domains, full *arr automation

spent 6 hours installing the jellyfin server instead of client like an idiot

but now i'm watching my own movies with zero buffering so worth it!

the "developers embrace AI or get out" rhetoric is so weak

produce a product that's actually good and ethical then maybe we'll be more on board

sure some devs are finding AI useful, but using it to gate keep? nah man

find another way to make the needle move, bro
GitHub CEO delivers stark message to developers: Embrace AI or get out.

guard: [tearing up] no

The Internet of Things ended up being the internet of unsupported products.

Google is ending support for 1st & 2nd generation Nests and completely pulling out of Europe.

Imagine having to replace the thermostats in your home because of a reorg at some big tech meant it was no longer a priority.
Google is killing software support for early Nest Thermostats
No more controlling these “smart” thermostats from a phone.
