My writeup / review of switching to a 36 key keyboard layout in response to RSI flare-ups.

Contains my motivations, layout, combos, and explains how I drive a keyboard powered tiling window manager using chording.

Bsky isn't too into keyboard content, but I need to post this to enable comments!

I got to work on a very meaningful project over the last couple of years.. What started as a mourning mother's notes turned into an anthology with over 40 contributors.

Jody, the mother of Andy- has been exploring turning this collection into a book. Something with a little more narrative glue

nothing validates a solo project more than seeing the line on the stripe dashboard go 📈

Waiting... Tickets for the next large live event I am producing go on sale in 2 hours. Last year sold out.

I've spent the last two months rebuilding the entire project into a social event platform with art sharing baked in. Really excited about the possibilities.

Had to write a blog post about getting the Apple Magic Track Pad working on Arch Linux w/ Hyprland with full custom gesture and multi-finger-click support.

My wrists basically stopped working in December from bad posture / years of hacking.

Fighting RSI will make you do interesting things.

A semi regular reminder that you can just do cool stuff on linux. I had to update some configs, so I touched up my theme switcher while I was in my dotfiles.

Crazy wallpaper switch effect, right?

Just add a `-t random` flag to the swww command and it randomizes it.

Someone from China (or vpn) has had their ship parked on my site's homepage for like two weeks.. they either left their browser tab open and forgot or they just want to represent.

Tailwind's `inset` is really nice. It seems so obvious.

Are there other Tailwind wins I should know about as a long time component-scoped-css holdout?

the hardest part about getting back into soldering / electronics tinkering is admitting I need glasses

the struggle is real

Lost my best fur friend today. Please, if you can, take yours for nice walk or something fun.

RIP Furgus Gunn, you were legendary dog.

You wouldn't download a keyboard, would you?

Moved another site off of Vercel to the Digital Ocean app engine.

If I wanted to continue financial support for the Svelte Team after cancelling my Vercel Pro account, where should I direct a small monthly donation?

Inspired by @fubits.dev Advent of Svelte Day 8, I finally set up Svelte Inspector for Neovim. Documented the full setup on Arch + Fish. Click any component in browser, opens at exact line in your existing session.

Working on a ~5k file SvelteKit project refactor / upgrade is made a lot easier by pumping the Svelte Check results into the Neovim quickfix list via nvim-svelte-check.

<leader>j - jump to next
<leader>k - jump to previous

Looks a little sluggish but this is a cold boot / run of the project.

I added a new playground section to my site—a distant echo back to the k10k zines I loved back in the day. A place for experimental projects and interactive experiences that don't quite fit as blog posts. Things I want to build in public, iterate on, maybe collaborate on.

Ok, video upload quality should be much better. I had redone my OBS settings and the changes didn't get applied.

This is a quick app I made for Battlefield 6 players to track vehicle respawns in-game.

Timers synced via websockets. Svelte 5 w/ ShadCN
