I think in this particular case, I would do the strategic vote even if I felt strongly for the green or NDP candidate ONLY because it is PP and it would be so glorious if he lost his seat.
The swing in Pierre Poilievre’s own Carlton riding is really telling of this election cycle.

His once VERY safe seat is now in the “Likely” category.

Hey. The fragmentation of the social media landscape has been hard on indie #scicomm 🧪 projects

So if you'd like to follow a podcast that's enthusiastic about #linguistics, could you check out @lingthusiasm.bsky.social?

And if you think your followers might like to, could you give this a repost?

Hello folks. Jim Cuddy here. Due to our troubles with our neighbours in The States, I was inspired to write a little song. It’s called “We Used to Be the Best of Friends”. youtu.be/b5jgJZWG7aY?...

Biking to work in March in #Winnipeg feels like a coup. Few icy/treacherous patches this morning but they should be puddles by the afternoon

This is going to happen in more and more places. Zip tying and carrying off people who express opposition
There's going to be news about a woman illegally detained and being forcely removed from a Coeur d'Alene Idaho Town Hall meeting taking place at the high school by men that would not identify themselves wearing plain clothes because she opposed the republican viewpoints.

This rings pretty true…
It was a good theory: That calling Elon "President Musk" would get under Trump's famously thin skin, causing division.

But it's not working. I have a theory why — and it helps explain why Republicans in Congress are okay with giving up power, too.

Trump's fragile ego doesn't seem bothered by the "President Elon" meme — here's why
It's also why Republicans in Congress are letting Musk take over

NEW: NFL will remove 'End Racism' from the end zones ahead of Super Bowl.

The announcement comes the same day a White House official told NBC News that President Trump would be attending the game.

I’m available to write or speak about the fentanyl border theater if any outlets are looking for someone. Have been covering fentanyl and drug policy for about a decade and have great sources
Also, this is reason #891378 that I'm pissed off at @manishakrishnan.bsky.social's job loss because if she were still at Vice, she'd be wiping the goddamn floor with all these idiotic takes on Canada's role in the fentanyl crisis.

They’re the best! A large independent bookstore in Winnipeg!
Apropos of nothing, just a reminder that McNally Robinson is independent, 100% Canadian, and family-owned. We pay taxes and those taxes circulate into the local/Canadian economy. We employ Canadians and the two owners are Canadians. Just FYI
