I localize these things for a living. I always want more Japanese games to be accessible in other languages, too. But that gap will always exist to some degree and just because it does and a game isn't in your language now—and may never be—doesn't mean it's any less worth discussing or studying.

I don't post this often because it's easy to come across as overly snide, but: folks, dismissively saying nothing but "too bad it's in Japanese 🤷" whenever somebody like me posts about an unlocalized game we genuinely care about is not exactly the most encouraging way to engage with our coverage lol
