There's a weird left-QAnon thing starting up centered around dubious claims about the 2024 results popping up at the periphery of the internet. I feel like we're gonna hear more and more about this so just laying down my understanding of it now.

The investor and ownership class are not going to effected by a market crash. They are insulated with long positions. All they see right now is shares on discount. The actual corporations will use their price drop as an excuse for mass firings to discipline the workforce.
