I sat next to a charming man today in a hospital waiting room. He told me that his wife of 60 years died this January. We talked about books and found that we’d read many the same. He misses conversation so I’m happy that we shared some quality convo.

Well, the new dog groomer we tried didn’t seem to understand what a wire-haired dachshund should look like. Eyebrows…gone. Mouth whiskers….gone. Crumpet has been a little depressed.
