I think the Maxwell link is key. They knew all about her father too and she was his favourite. There was a whiff of an Israeli link I seem to remember . Far more dangerous than sex with a 17 year old is the risk of foreign power blackmail.

I haven’t seen any fieldfares this autumn but it has been incredibly mild so perhaps they haven’t arrived yet? Isle of Man. Maybe I missed them.

Possibly not. We had a Shetland - the vicious bar steward would take a bite out of you without provocation and the white pony is running away nervously. You can see the little one bite its neck at the beginning in an unfriendly manner.
