Covid vax day today at Tesco Extra. Outrageously expensive. Nobody masked except me and one other person waiting to be vaccinated.

We have rain at last! Maybe the spring that supplies all the farm and domestic water won't dry up after all, and the hundreds of trees planted last winter will be saved.

Red moon rising tonight for the second night in a row. Any redder and it will surely drip blood. Something serious coming. (Poor photo alert).

This is the real news story:
Disillusioned Labour votes far more likely to vote Green or Lib Dem (43% and 40%) compared to only 9% shifting to Reform.

Share widely to counteract all the misinformation that justifies a further shift to the Right by the gov.
The government are wrong if they see yesterday's results as a further reason to shift right.

People are certainly disillusioned, and 2024 Labour voters are looking elsewhere - but mostly to the Greens or Lib Dems, not Reform.

Never more glad to have left Lincolnshire 40 years ago than I am today. And well done Shropshire (where I live now) for stepping that little bit left to avoid onrushing bandwagon.

A quick trip round some mid Wales hills on the Mutt 250. Little bikes + little roads = fun, adventure and really wild things.

A lot of people are assuming that the new process for Environmental Delivery Plans will be that developers will get surveys of the site and pay into the Nature Restoration Fund where appropriate.

But the government are quoted here as saying something very different 1/2

This is what should be on every front page right now. What's happening in the US right now is an illegal power grab by a private citizen. IT'S A COUP.

It's a digital coup. It's Musk who's leading it. The consequences are terrifying. And it's coming for us next.

This is what should be on every front page in 150 point banner headlines. All I have is this Substack but I lay it beneath your feet and pray to a higher power that I'm wrong.

"The argument put forward by the government, to justify the lack of #airborne mitigations, is that #Covid-19 is not ‘predominantly’ spread via the airborne route; they maintain that the ‘predominant’ mode of spread is through droplets and contact. This position now goes against the latest science."
