Something thats really wild is that @mayor.lacity.gov inside save program utilizes a “sweep” as the focal point for housing. So residents of an encampment have law enforcement and sanitation barreling down on them and have no choice but to be shuttled to any number of subpar temp housing facilities.

My son had Medicaid (i.e. Medi-Cal) until he was almost three. If you think you don’t know someone who’s needed Medicaid… you do.
