Staring at the Bible verses on the wall at the office I’m forced to go to to do a job that could be done remote, listening to middle management explain we can’t do raises or bonuses while I overhear the CEO talking about meeting with painters for one of her 4 rentals. Pretty cool shit, man.

I don't think film critics should have to review the Marvel movies anymore. Like, I dunno. Should an art critic have to review those big pictures of tomatoes they hang on the wall at Subway? I think they belong in a different category.

Every job I’ve ever had, I felt like I got hired on right as the good ol days are ending. Within a couple weeks the company changes policies - the big overhead lights flash on - party’s over. Cant help but feel the same way about developing a side gig editing content/clips for podcasts I really love

I don’t think either of them post on here so I can be cringe all I want - Jake and Thomas from Pendejo Time gave me a little shout out on the latest ep thanking me for doing clips for them and it was just so nice to hear. They’re such lovely boys. Especially Thomas.

something i have literally noticed in real life, no shit, is that theres about 25% of people who when they get a handful of followers completely go off the deep end like they won the lottery. like when a podcast gets slightly popular or an open mic person tweets for Tig or whatever. it kicks ass
if you werent here in the early days of bluesky you missed some really funny stuff. a bunch of people got psyched out of their minds on having 1000 followers for the first time and tried to cancel dril

Just gonna use this to post my used movie hauls. Really happy with this one. Wanted to watch Gladiator in the lead up to Gladiator 2. Very stoked about the Blazing Saddles special edition as well. Had to leave behind Godzilla on criterion and taxi driver because someone stole the discs lmao
