Yeah it’s why I don’t bother anymore. This is what I dealt with all through high school. I had thoughts and feelings and questions about the world and it was a stone wall. Wholly incurious about anything beyond the safe small little town.

Living there during summer 2020 when the BLM protests were taking place had me on edge most days. Sadly in their minds it’s still 2009 and we’re still just kids who don’t know anything about the world. It’s beyond infuriating.

Just feels bleak. Nothing good is ever gonna happen again. Can’t even say the dems abandoned us because that would imply they had our best interests at heart in the first place.
