A propos of nothing, but if you live in NYC, and this kind of story inspires you, there are groups accompanying neighbors to immigration court *every day of the week.* You can join!

I accompany with @newsanctuarynsc.bsky.social, but there are other groups doing this work.

Talks about person who needed someone to go to court with. Took a big group. ICE agents tried to take her away. Galbreath sent someone to hold the elevator, ran her through past the ICE agents, and got her out.

"Yes, I was afraid. Yes I was unsure"

But we are not taking this our our city.

Looking forward to meeting you!
At work, without really thinking about it, I signed up for an online webinar/training with @newsanctuarynsc.bsky.social . So I guess I chose action groups?
It's so hard to know when to act. Take some time today to figure out what will force you to action. If _____ happens, then what will you do? Fight? Flee? Join action groups?

Take the time to decide, it may bring you peace in the meantime and momentum when you're ready.

Nearly every time, I see ICE agents arresting immigrants. Today, a woman was slammed to the ground after begging officials not to take her husband away.
