Our thoughts are with Alex Jeffrey Pretti’s family and loved ones. We stand in unwavering solidarity with the residents of Minnesota who—even in subzero temperatures—have risen with powerful resilience to demand justice and an end to state-sanctioned violence in their community.

[Alex Pretti’s execution] marks the second fatal federal shooting in Minneapolis in less than three weeks. When federal officers repeatedly kill people on our streets, it is not a failure of policy; it is the policy.

Stay tuned for updates.

He Came to the U.S. to Support His Sick Child. He Was Detained. Then He Disappeared.
Like most of the more than 230 Venezuelan men deported to a Salvadoran prison, José Manuel Ramos Bastidas had followed U.S. immigration rules. Then Trump rewrote them.

Despite repeated outreach from @nipnlg.bsky.social attorneys ICE refused to let the parents speak to each other or mom speak to her attorney. We filed a late-night habeas petition ICE was fully aware of, but they deported them anyway.
Donald Trump isn’t just illegally removing U.S. citizens from the country without due process.

He’s illegally removing U.S. citizens who are literal children undergoing care for cancer.

What we're seeing with Mahmoud Khalil is frightening in how deportation can and will be used to retaliate against community members who speak out. This case is an example of how surveillance under an increasingly authoritarian government puts all of us in peril.
how did ICE know where to find Mahmoud Khalil, and who will they go after next? I wrote about the vast surveillance network that powers ICE arrests, and the Zionist groups making deportation wishlists for the agency:
