Immigrant rights and social justice organizations across Georgia are sounding the alarm after witnessing the largest ICE raid in history at the Hyundai supplier and LG Energy Solution plant in Ellabell, GA. Without warning, 475 workers were taken from their jobs midday.

#BREAKING: Yesterday morning, the NOLA ICE Field Office deported at least two families, including two mothers and their minor children – three of whom are U.S. citizen children aged 2, 4, and 7. One of the mothers is currently pregnant.

On Mar 28th, Judge Brinkema ordered Cesar & Norelia released after their first habeas petition hearing in Virginia, during which she told the govt their work in the case was "shoddy" and that "[they] don't have it." A statement that was later echoed by Judge Briones. 7/

In his order, Judge Briones expressed concern about ICE's contradictory claims when it came to accusing the couple, Cesar & Norelia, of being Tren de Aragua members. A sentiment shared by Judge Brinkema who presided over the couples' first habeas petition a month ago. 3/

Importantly, the judge also ordered that the govt has to give 21-day notice to anyone detained under the AEA in the Western District of Texas, that includes the right to seek judicial review and consult an attorney, and be written in a language the person understands. 2/
