What if... What if instead of lambasting the person for seeing and pointing out the negatives with something (instead of only focusing on the positives), we listened to them to remove the negatives... Making the positives even more positive?

I'm beginning to wonder if the pandemic didn't trigger a lot of neurotypical folk's inate fear of dying; thus causing this explosion of general antisocial behavior, wanton cruelty, the resurgence of state annexation and genocide.

It's a good default assumption to have, until people prove otherwise.
My default assumption about everyone is that they try to be good people and that they genuinely want to have a positive impact on the world. I don’t know if that’s evidence-based or not but I think it keeps me from spending more time than I’d like hating or yelling at strangers.

I don't think I will ever fully understand people's obsession with needing to say racial slurs. I absolutely hate censorship, but some words are just completely unnecessary in any scenario.
Also, nothing's preventing them from saying these words, it's just the consequences they don't like.

this is actually a long held right-wing critique of ChatGPT et al - that it won’t say the N word is acceptable even if you craft a scenario where saying it would save lives. I once saw someone describe this as “proof of woke institutional capture.”
