This goes beyond development being ‘put back by years’.

This is what terrifies me in the UK as they vote for the assisted suicide bill. How long before we’re coerced at our lowest points??
MAiD in Canada - prior to 2020 when we opened track two for non terminal illnesses - it was against the law/physician code of conduct to proactively bring it up.
It’s allowed now. The patient doesn’t have to initiate the discussion. When a doctor suggests you consider death? It has lasting effects.

Here's the thing. YOU should be the person who enquires. It should never be offered as an option.

You know one reason why so many 40-something women are finally getting their diagnosis of ADHD or Autism?
It’s because masking and just pushing through is a hell of a lot harder when perimenopause starts.
And burnout is much more likely.

We must must must resist the idea that generative AI is inevitable. It is not inevitable. People don't really like it. It doesn't do its job well. It removes the humanity from one of the most human-forward things. Not to mention it is an environmental nightmare. Keep banging the drum. Say no to AI.
