Definately my weirdest scientific idea yet: Can humans sleep one half of their brains at a time when they sleep in water, like dolphins do? Certainly no proof of that yet - but we have a method to maybe catch it. And, Yes, a human can fall asleep floating in a fluid. lnkd.in/gUHSRjug

Improving the completeness and transparency of protocols and reports of randomized trials: SPIRIT 2025 and CONSORT 2025
We developed SPIRIT 2025 and CONSORT 2025 together and in a similar manner. To ascertain new evidence to inform both updates we completed two scoping reviews. The results of the scoping reviews helped...

Do modern post-industrialised society members sleep more than hunter-gatherers? Somewhat accurately partially quoted in New Scientist. Big sample sizes don't fix the non-representative sampling problem. www.newscientist.com/article/2469...
People in industrial societies get more sleep than hunter-gatherers
Individuals in industrialised societies seem to sleep for longer than people in non-industrialised ones, but their circadian rhythms are more out of sync
