When I was in high school in B'ham at the end of the 80s, I saw the Cramps, Ramones, and Replacements play shows at Sloss Furnace. Besides continuing to host cultural programs, Sloss has a metal arts program, which is pretty damn cool.
Sloss Furnaces is so cool. one of the most memorable stops on my road trip through the South. if you’re ever passing through Birmingham, Alabama, go check it out.
