I was recently leaked a document that was written by and for think tank and DNC affiliated policy wonks and circulated in private chats. It describes in unsparing terms the threat Curtis Yarvin, Neoreactionary tech founders, and Elon Musk pose to democracy.

“Project 2025 is less concerned with governing faithfully as Christians than with cynically using Christianity’s majority status to establish political dominance, remake the United States in their own image, and further marginalize at-risk populations.”

I hope Wheaton College is savvy enough to know it should lean into these Christian Nationalist attempts to cancel them. They need to validate and applaud the bold Christian witness of their faculty and recognize that this kind of negative press from the dregs of X is actually a ringing endorsement

Joe Rigney is blatantly homophobic. Can’t believe Wheaton students and alumni really want people like him influencing who leads this school.

If you’re not a Wheaton student or alum, it still doesn’t mean your school, church, or other organization won’t be next on the Christian Nationalist hit list. Here’s proof - Eric Teetsel and his friend William Wolfe are in lock-step on this.

This whole thread is key to understanding the Christian Nationalist ecosystem attempting to oust the current Wheaton College administration because, frankly put, it actually believes in loving and supporting the entire body of Christ, not just their exclusive extreme Reformed version of it.
1. In reading this @zackbeauchamp.bsky.social piece on Russ Vought broadcasting years ago actions he might take if he returned to power, just want to note an interesting overlap between his thinking and that of the Doug Wilsonverse — which recently defended Vought. www.vox.com/on-the-right...
The obscure manifesto that explains the Trump-Musk power grab
Russ Vought, Trump’s OMB director, wrote an essay in 2022 that reads like a blueprint for what was to come.

While Wheaton College always fashioned itself as theologically conservative, it was never overtly partisan. But maintaining that posture has become increasingly difficult.

And people really think that Project 2025 isn’t down for fascism. Why should we believe you?
Stephen Bannon made a gesture that a far-right French leader and others likened to a Nazi salute when he was giving a speech outside Washington on Thursday. He also suggested that President Trump pursue a constitutionally prohibited third term.

Jordan Bardella, the president of France’s far-right National Rally, canceled his planned speech at the conference, saying the gesture referred to “Nazi ideology.”

In which we once again see that American Reformer are the true extremists.
For those of you not up on the goings on in the Bad Place™️ it has come to light that legally the Center for Baptist Leadership (which is basically W. Wolfe) has been exposed as legally being the same entity as American Reformer. The racist dum dums who published the Communist Manifesto on accident
Just so y’all know this is one of the funniest things to happen all year.

This whole thread shows why American Reformer is just one of many nodes in the cultic Christian Nationalist network.

Well finding out a letter denouncing Vought and calling on Wheaton to do the same has 1200+ signatures of alumni and the pro MAGA one has barely 300 just made my day.
Wondering if @sarahposner.bsky.social knows what’s happening with #WheatonCollege right now, specially our open letter from 1200+ alumni signatories but also the right-wing letter making ultimatums to Wheaton and trying to audit faculty for their beliefs and crush DEI.
