This is relevant for our reading of Marx because it also means that it is entirely feasible for Marx in 1845 to reject the Feuerbach's philosophical anthropology specifically without for that reason giving up the technical concept of alienation in general.

Virtually every single Young Hegelian, including the ones that Marx was influenced by before Feuerbach (like Bauer and Ruge), and including Young Hegelians that were decidedly anti-Feuerbachians and explicitly rejected his philosophical anthropology, also applied this concept.

I somehow danced properly for the first time yesterday, so much so that I am sore. Guess all I needed was to hit the gym and get more flexible to "get it" and move with the rhythm.

I would have spent all friday (1 of my 2 off days) working on this after gathering together a few texts from memory, but apparently my workplace has a Christmas party which offers hair styling from professionals at the pre-party so, whatev, this can take an extra week.
I was reading the essay by WCR attached to the new Capital translation, and in it he says something so outrageously myopic that I have to write about it at length now.
