This is relevant for our reading of Marx because it also means that it is entirely feasible for Marx in 1845 to reject the Feuerbach's philosophical anthropology specifically without for that reason giving up the technical concept of alienation in general.

Virtually every single Young Hegelian, including the ones that Marx was influenced by before Feuerbach (like Bauer and Ruge), and including Young Hegelians that were decidedly anti-Feuerbachians and explicitly rejected his philosophical anthropology, also applied this concept.
