Why do I wear an N95 mask?
Bc Covid will happily destroy your immune system, more each time you get it. It can give you a whole new syndrome and/or awaken & worsen dormant viruses+syndromes.
You do not want a mystery disease like my loved one has now. Our system does not know what to do with you.

If you would like to thank Ahmed, the Bondi Beach hero from Syria, who tackled and removed the gun from one of the two shooters yesterday, here is a quick way to sign onto a letter to him:

To the hero of Bondi Beach…
Sign these few words of gratitude to Ahmed as he recovers in hospital. This man saved many lives by stopping the shooter in Australia’s antisemitic attack.

Good question.
The Inflation Reduction Act allocated $1.55 billion to mitigating methane pollution from fossil fuel infrastructure. Does anyone know how much of that money went out, where it went, or how much avoided methane pollution taxpayers got as a return on that investment? Surprisingly little info online.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

I see the PM is being very rattled and very untruthful about the Greens again in the papers.

He couldn’t say this stuff in Parliament because he would be lying to the House - both about what our popular, evidence-based policies are, and about him believing this guff.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Since when is the FIFA in the peace business.

Will be waiting to see how much they love trump when ICE gets ahold of their players.

"But the cobalt' they scream "wont somebody think of the children"

Ignoring that cobalt is used in petrol refining, never removed and burned in normal use so we all breath it in

And the majority of EV batteries no longer use cobalt

Now they just need EV batteries to die so they can make a profit doing that efficient recycling. But the EV batteries just keep going and going beyond expectations.

Costco keep their employees by paying them well and giving goid benefits. Amazon could do this too and Jeff Bezos would be the entrepreneur of our time . When you are as large as Amazon you can tell wall street they are going to have to accept less . Economies do well when money is circulating .

Admiral Bradley is set to brief Congress tomorrow on the boat strikes—

Which brings Admiral Holsey’s recent resignation to mind, after he informed Hegseth that he had no intention of carrying out an illegal order after 40 years of service in the U.S. Navy—

I’d like to hear Holsey’s testimony too
