Im seeing people frame this as ignorance/arrogance. Understand that this man acts out of a genuine hate/disgust for disabled people--this is the root of his anti-vaccination policies and work, and his takes on autism.

I saw someone break down DEI to the opposite; Diversity - opposite is uniformity; Equity - opposite is bias,discrimination, and injustice; Inclusion - opposite is exclusion So when you say you are against DEI then you are for uniformity, discrimination and exclusion. Hope that helps

Over the years, so many people who’ve raised concerns about racism or sexual harrassment have talked to me about their experiences and it is striking how often raising concerns triggered a backlash as if being honest was the problem, rather than the appalling behaviour of perpetrators.
