The beauty of Studio Ghibli comes from the delicate human touch each artist brings to it. The animation is just rich in atmosphere thanks to the impressionistic touch and algorithms cannot create something this lush, timeless, and vivid. It's why these films are so special.

If you like Nichijou, I highy recommend the manga. It has some of the most creative uses of the comics medium to tell jokes. My favorite is a chapter where the whole ensemble cast goes to a festival, and it's presented as 4 separate Where's Waldo-style splash pages.
