Got myself a library membership card this morning. I used to have one for many years from when I was a kid, but lapsed during the COVID lockdowns. I'm a big fan of libraries. 🧪

It’s fun being a writer and trying to write during this delightful era. I’ll write like three paragraphs and before I start on the fourth I blink and I’m doomscrolling and I don’t even remember commanding my hand to click to that tab. Then I go back to writing. Everything is fine! It’s all fine.

I'm renewing my library card today! I encourage everyone to sign up or renew theirs as well as use online and in-person library services. I've had such great experiences with classes and discussions. Plus? Librarians will bend over backwards to help out (usually). Oh, and read banned books!

This is dangerous. This is the villainizing of mentally ill people. This is misinformation, scapegoating, so the NRA can keep raking in money in arms sales and those at risk are put at risk of self-harm or death. This is inhumane, and should be talked about more broadly. #Trump #RFKJR #SSRI

Was online today and I saw so much political stuff. And it is all very important and pressing and all the things. But the stress is deeply affecting my mental and physical health. I need to just tune out and try and not hear the bullshit 24/7.
