The story behind why I look ill is that I had a flare not too long before this was taken, and the owner of Seventh Shelf gave me a bottle of water. It was so nice of Golden Angel to still offer to take a picture with my very sweaty and sick self. If you want spicy historical #romance, try her stuff.

Always check your seasonings bought from flea markets. I got a great big container of Italian seasonings, but the rosemary pieces were long enough to cause gagging or choking. We have an herb grinder we're putting it all through, so it's still useable, but be careful. Nothing but love to the sellers

Trader Joe's seasonings slap. I just put some 21 Seasonings Salute on broccoli and cheddar noodles. The whole dish was elevated significantly.

One of Capybara's co-workers is absolutely a chaos goblin. She's always doing something or having something wild happen to her, and it's amazing. I just found out she managed to befriend and capture a lost Zebra Finch that she met while feeding wild birds. It's her pet now. I love her.

I'm not sure how widespread this is, but there was some kind of error at my polling place, and Independent votes had to go through extra hoops. Might be worth some scrutiny by any ethical news sources left... Like Rolling Stone.

I did my civic duty and voted, but OMG, was it hell on my nerves. By the time I left, I was in a full-on anxiety attack. My partner was amazing and coached me through it, but I swear to fuck this better have been worth the trouble.

Personally I think "don't speak ill of the dead" is cowardly, tone-police shit.
I don't think dying absolves anyone of the weight of their life's decisions, their politics, nor their accountability to them. I think the dead are just that, and sanctity isn't implicit; it's earned by one's choices.

I couldn't mail in my vote YET AGAIN, and so I have to sacrifice time and energy I really need to go out and vote in hopes the system isn't rigged and we have a shot at turning shit around. The panic attack this shit brings on better be fucking worth it.
