The Danish government reported this Friday (19) that it was the target of “destructive and disruptive” cyberattacks attributed to Russia, directed against critical infrastructure and government websites. The official assessment was released by the Danish Defense Intelligence Service (FE). This is the first time that Copenhagen has publicly attributed this type of attack to the Russian state. According to the FE, one of the episodes occurred at the end of 2024, when the hacker group Z-Pentest, linked to the Russian State, attacked the company Tureby Alkestrup Waterworks, responsible for water supply in the Køge region, about 35 kilometers south of Copenhagen.
