The Trump HHS approach to transgender youth is not "greater emphasis on psychtherapy." It is "ONLY psychotherapy," with the explicit goal of making trans youth no longer transgender.

This seems like kind of a big story and it's frustrating that we're still getting "it's time for liberals to consider the lab leak" think pieces. The two best pieces of "evidence" come directly from the Trump Administration and have completely fallen apart under scrutiny!
While the lab leak itself is effectively a conspiracy theory, it's becoming clear that there was a literal conspiracy within the first Trump administration to gin up evidence and pitch it to journalists.

Given that the rationale was a false accusation of putting adult material in front of children, my guess is they're going to weaponize the copyright office to refuse to register copyrights for works dealing with LGBTQ or racial and gender justice issues.
Not that it matters to Trump, but is this even legal? Register is appointed by the Librarian, not the president. And she is a legislative branch employee, not executive.
