MPD isn't supposed to be helping. This is in direct contradiction to what O'Hara pledged in January: www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/vi...

MPD is already trying to lie about what happened. City of Minneapolis official account also reposted them. As long as Frey is Mayor we will have a police department ready to assist ICE and then try to lie about it. Look at the thread to see what MPD’s cooperation and assistance led to today.

My feed contains a lot of German language posts, probably because when I see a post in German I spend a long time trying to read it because I don’t know German very well.

I understand, without really agreeing, why Walgreen’s locks up a bunch of shelves. But - and maybe this is just me - I’d rather find another store than press a button and wait for someone to show up and unlock the cabinet, potentially several times.

If I’m understanding this article from researchers at the Fed correctly, it sounds like ghost jobs are likely the reason that the labor market numbers have appeared so positive when anecdotally, the labor market is kinda bad for everyone I know
Fewer openings, harder to get hired: U.S. labor market likely softer than it appears | Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis
