I suggest that those outside of Texas follow our politics because we seem to be ground zero for what they will try to cram down the rest of the country.
The Texas legislature passed a dozen anti-LGBTQ+ laws in 2025, which threaten to negatively impact queer Texans with restrictions targeting public schools and healthcare and new legal standards that could create unsafe environments for queer people, particularly children.
