Centennial Construction Project update: With the completion of the Farish Hall’s demolition, we’re one big step closer to seeing Centennial Plaza come to life!

Today marks 18 years since Renu Khator became president of the University of Houston. Under her leadership, UH earned Tier One status, joined the Big 12, opened Houston’s first new medical school in nearly 50 years and grew enrollment by more than 40% to nearly 49,000 students.

The end of an era - demolition of Farish Hall has officially begun. Slated to be completed by mid-January, this heralds in the second phase of Centennial Plaza, still expected to be completed by 2027.
