Incredibly moving Justin Trudeau remarks:

"We have fought and died alongside you....During your darkest hours...we were always there. Standing with you, grieving with you, the American people....Canadians are a little perplexed as to why our closest friends and neighbors are choosing to target us."

There's such a tone of sadness to the CBC reporting right now. Adrienne Arsenault says, “I feel like the whole country, all of us, are getting both a history lesson and a politics lesson and an economics lesson and a lesson in heartache.”

🥳 Three cheers to the hardy group of P7s from St John's Primary who braved freezing conditions (-2°C) last night to take these ace photos! They're staying at the Benmore outdoor education centre and snapped Jupiter & its moons + our Moon with our SeeStar before the clouds arrived!

Jupiter series featuring Io and its shadow transiting.
Captured with my old 10" dob, NO tracking. 2x barlow and cameras zoom. I butted camera up to eyepiece, hand held.
I put Jupiter in field of view and videoed until he left FOV, and repeat.

Here is my #SH2-184 The Pacman Nebula, I took a total of 20 hours combined exposure with [SII], Ha and [OIII] filters. I just love the Bok globules, here new stars may form in the future as the gas and dust collapses under gravity. #astrophotography #nebula #space #nomnom

I targeted something new last night. NGC 1491 is also called the Fossil Footprint Nebula. The footprints are 2 dark ovals in center. I used an HSO palette, Hydrogen is red, oxygen blue, and sulfur green. I like this when H overwhelms the other light. Love how H and O make magenta!#astrophotography
