Pop superstar Katy Perry was flying on a giant mechanical butterfly around Chase Center in San Francisco when it unexpectedly jolted and dipped.

“Not today, Satan,” Perry quipped. “The show must go on.”

Opinon | We must welcome white South Africans with open arms. One of them could become the next Nazi-sympathizing libertarian billionaire who gets rich from government subsidies and then tries to kick people off of Medicaid.

Am I correct that the Department of Homeland Security is paying for ads where Kristi Noem praises Dear Leader for securing our borders? Is this still America?

Twitter people are talking about the CNN poll showing that people "approve" of Trump's handling of gender identity.

Turns out though when you look at the crosstabs, Democrats and Independents do not approve of Trump's handling of trans issues.

But Republicans absolutely love it.

If this stands we are done. There is no longer due process, there is no longer separation of powers, we will just have a fascist king.
Here's Trump saying to Bukele that "homegrown criminals are next" and talking about how El Salvador will need to build "about five more places."

So many California farmers had giant Trump signs near their farms, yet apparently they had NO IDEA who tended their fields and harvested their crops.
Today from me: As Trump squeezes the unauthorized immigrant workforce, employers ramp up the pressure for expanded guest worker programs and a path to legal status for those who've been in the U.S. for years. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/31/b...
As Trump Squeezes the Immigrant Work Force, Employers Seek Relief
Businesses that rely on immigrants are pushing for legislation to ensure an adequate, legal flow of laborers from abroad as deportations ramp up.

Maybe DOGE should look into the ads being run by the Department of Homeland Security thanking Dear Leader and telling immigrants to leave or forfeit forever the right to “enjoy America’s freedoms”. Seems like a waste to me.

Maybe the states should just stop giving money to the federal government. Might as well disband the federal government. Let each state make their own rules and spend only what they collect in taxes. I mean leaving the EU really worked well for the UK.

I have absolutely no credential to make the following statement…I just have a strong feeling we are witnessing the biggest crime in human history. Trump is hollowing out our government, and the loot will come in the form of tax reductions for the richest of the rich. Then…

Culture wars cost everyone. Trump wants to pay for permanent tax cuts for the richest Americans and mass deportations in part by cutting Medicaid. Community health centers and rural clinics/hospitals would suffer. 81% of Americans oppose these cuts. pennsylvaniaindependent.com/health-care/...
Medicaid is in Republicans’ sights. Here’s what you need to know.
Congressional Republicans are reportedly considering slashing the health insurance program to pay for President Donald Trump’s proposed tax cuts and immigration policies.

Culture wars don’t lower food prices. California farmers rely on workers who are now subject to mass deportation. There aren’t people to harvest crops. Food rots in fields while prices go up for consumers. The farmers who support this administration will feel pain too.

Culture wars and photo ops don’t fight fires or grow food. Trump ordered the United States Military to release water that would otherwise be used by California farmers, falsely claiming it was needed to fight fires.
