Really, truly amazing that OpenAI wants us to believe that they are worth a trillion dollars but also they are so desperate for revenue that they created an infinite SlopTok app that opens them up to a billion lawsuits just so that they can maybe someday make it even worse by filling it with ads.

My personal timeline is full of autistic people trying to explain that there isn't more autism than before, it's just that we're better at detecting it, and there's nothing more autistic than hoping explaining something at length will help matters when nobody is really listening.

The CEO of a a multi-trillion dollar company went to the White House, openly handed the US president a gift made of gold, and his company got a special exemption to tariffs the president has illegally imposed.

Also, the Founders took bribery so seriously the Constitution bans it 3 separate times.

A thing I think we miss is that the “authoritarian playbook” isn’t a set of instructions authoritarians are reading from, it’s just a list of things that happen when narcissists get too much power.

Just to "yes and" this point, it is useful to think of statements like these as being aimed at the market and investors rather than us proles. It is a message that says: keep pricing us like a growth stock and not like a shambling, stagnating zombie of a company!

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

LLMs providing info on topics I’m expert in; “ugh this is so bad!”

It's 2015. President Barack Obama has accepted a "sky palace" jumbo jet from the Qatari government, which he'll own after he leaves office. "Everybody relax," he says in an interview with the New York Times. Everyone does. The networks then televise the military parade in his honor on his birthday.

A strange thing about being disabled is that everyone is my best friend when they're lonely. I am static, a strange oracle kept at the top of a high mountain. And if you are lonely, you always know where to find me.

When you aren't anymore, only one of us can leave.

So I sit, and watch you go.

I’m not reposting anything with RFK Jr’s face on it out of respect for xour eyes but “autism epidemic” is like saying “freckles epidemic” or “cleft chin epidemic” it’s not a disease it’s just a way some people are and the thing we need to fix is a hostile societal framework.

I will not be claiming 2025 as my year.

I have never seen a year coming that I so clearly know is going to hurt me and all I can do about it is resolve to get back up, spitting blood.
