"Some things simply can’t be undone. The United States will likely never recover the full trust of our allies in Europe and Asia, who now know that another Trump is always at most four years away. Confidence in the rule of law in this country will remain shaken for generations."

Republicans fought release of Epstein materials every step of the way, are now refusing to release the second strike boat video, and won’t let Jack Smith testify in public. They constantly hide everything they are doing from the American people.

Two babies were born in New York within a year of each other, soon after WWII.

One, Rob Reiner, lived a life of humanity and achievement. He brought us delight and joy. His memory will be a blessing.

The other, Donald Trump, will be remembered as an embarrassment to our nation.

Does anyone have a list of the reporters that were in that gaggle where he said, "Quiet, Piggy"?

You know, the ones who refused to support their colleague?

I'd like to know who they are because they should be named and shamed.

In normaler times, this is front page, above the fold, all caps behavior by an American president
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

For previous presidents, "Quiet, piggy" would have been a career defining catastrophe. For Trump, it wasn't even the worst thing he said that day.

Here’s your daily reminder that, about a week ago, the president straight-up admitted he had no idea who he was pardoning—only did it because his sons told him to.

There’s a lot going on, but I still think that’s one of the biggest scandals in the country right now—and the media is just silent.

He's taking away healthcare for millions. He gets a thrill out of killing people on the open seas. He wants you to hate. Dwell on that – he wants you to hate. He's demanding our justice department pay him $230,000,000. He thinks he owns the country.

He is a clear and present danger.

If a temporary resident of the White House can totally demolish the East Wing to build a gaudy ballroom, without any authority, approval, or regulation, he can tear down the rest of the White House to build a Walmart. That this destruction is allowed underscores how off the rails our country is now.
