WIP

I don't really do "Traditional" art associated with my tribe but I was always enamored by the fun colors and added shapes/lines present in Lenape beadwork, so I try to incorporate my own twist in my "cartoony" animal-like figures.

I just need to paint the last one now, but I like it so far.
Three paintings meant to go together. Each one is a sort of vague bipedal figure with some animalistic qualities, such as horns or a tail. They all have added lines and shapes inside to add more colors. The middle one is unfinished.

I don't normally comment on these things, but this is exactly the reason why I completely moved away from "Twitter / X". I used to love this site with all my heart, interacting with my friends & artists I enjoyed seeing, but after everything, it doesn't feel right staying there

Not only is the site actively putting a “Okay, now remix this” button below art (and elevating them above the OP with a QRT) and it’s false flagging original art as made by AI.

the impression i have is that artists with huge followings aren't having too much trouble rebuilding on bsky, but small artists are having just as much trouble as on twitter

i really urge people to retweet art. this sucks massively and im sad people need to start from scratch
