A reminder - last March, republicans promised to restore $1.1B in funding to DC in exchange for funding the government, and Mike Johnson never took it up in the House.

@chrislhayes.bsky.social I wish someone on @MSNBC would mention that, while the shutdown is affecting federal workers, CJA lawyers haven't been paid since June. Prosecutors who are now dealing with the shutdown have had their deadlines stayed by the court, but ours are still in effect.
