I'm not one for anniversaries, but it feels fitting to mark the fifth anniversary of the Jan. 6 attack, if only to preserve clarity amongst ourselves about what that day represents: the starkest fork in the road that this country had faced since its civil war.

Donald Trump has multiple indictments in the United States for crimes against the US government. And also pardoned top drug dealers.
Vance pushes back and says this was not illegal, arguing "Maduro has multiple indictments in the United States for narcoterrorism. You don't get to avoid justice for drug trafficking in the United States because you live in a palace in Caracas."

Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.

abolish ice. theres no middle road on this and democrats will have to be held to it.
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

When we say "no, everything hasn't been digitized," I need you to understand that we really mean is that virtually nothing has been digitized. This is because the realm of primary sources that historians use is incomprehensibly large.

It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

We just choose not to. Because our revealed preference is that we prefer mass shootings to meaningful gun control. This is who we are. www.thebulwark.com/p/america-un...

The current SCOTUS majority is a bunch of sophists who like to dismiss evidence in favor of hypotheticals. They are spending enormous political capital trying to empower a guy that tried to overthrow the US government. If any good comes of this, hopefully it will radicalize people about SCOTUS.
The conservative justices have their talking point -- what if Congress turned every department into a multimember commission -- and it is totally absurd considering that has never happened under the existing law.

We could go on forever about how much this slogan sucks.

And you could wonder all day why Jeffries—instead of trying to impress donors, CNBC, and Fox News by attacking socialism—can’t simply defend Democrats’ vastly superior economic record of delivering for all Americans.
Democrats’ New Slogan Is a Donor-Class Disaster
It’s time to start the 2028 primary and step over this donor-coddling nonsense.
