Our nation's wildlife is at risk. The Trump admin wants to rewrite the rules to allow habitat destruction with no accountability. If we lose our forests and wetlands to industry, we lose the species that call them home. Take action against these attacks on the Endangered Species Act.
The Trump Administration Aims to Gut Critical Habitat Protections for Endangered Species
Habitat destruction is the number one cause of extinction. This lawless proposal would eliminate the Endangered Species Act’s core protections against it.

"America should be run like a business" makes perfect sense—if you don't think about it.

Not only does the government provide services and resources that do not easily map to the business world’s profit/loss framework, but it's also designed to be a corrective force to the excesses of business.

Demonstrations against Trump are getting larger and louder. This is absolutely essential.

But Trump’s regressive populism — cruel, tyrannical, bigoted, authoritarian — must be met by a bold progressive populism that strengthens democracy and shares the wealth.
Keep demonstrating against Trump — but also for a better future.

If you've ever found yourself thinking, 'That can’t be constitutional' after one of Trump’s executive orders or deportations, you're not wrong. This piece breaks down the five core constitutional principles Trump has taken a wrecking ball to, so we can better fight back against the threat he poses.

One of the hardest things to make people realize is what didn't happen. "Implemented policies to date are likely to have reduced global emissions by several billion tons of CO2eq per year...."
listen up, climate policies have resulted in the avoidance of greenhouse gases and global emissions would be way higher had we done nothing

This is a photo of the good senator and his constituent, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. He prevailed against two authoritarian regimes to connect. I hope against hope that Mr. Garcia is flying home for Easter.

(All the people who speculated he was already dead should not have. And here he is.)
I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.
