When the two-part miniseries Anne of Green Gables debuted on CBC on Dec. 1, 1985, nearly six million Canadians tuned in. It went on to win 10 Geminis, an Emmy and a Peabody.
To this day, the miniseries is studied in film schools.

Amid the fog of war, clarity is often hard to find. But, if this story is true, there is nothing unclear or ambiguous about it.

This was either a war crime (if we believe that the killings are covered by the laws of war) or it was simply cold-blooded murder.

Everyone (esp media) pay attention. In 2021 almost every Republican attacked the Biden administration and State dept for being too slow in approving Afghanistan special visas as Afghanistan fell.

Unemployment has been rising “a tenth of a point here, a tenth of a point there.” That feels small month to month, but as it has added up month over month, we've silently shifted from a very tight market toward a noticeably weaker one. Slow drips still fill the bucket.
