The way I’ve tried to encourage friends to keep creating is that you still get the “experience points” even if you don’t finish or never post what you made. You did the action, now you’ve got more EXP. That’s how it works. You don’t have to “cash it in”; you just get experience from doing things.

This is why we so desperately need to take kids (and adults!) to museums and galleries and art shows so they can see the work in the artwork. Seeing Van Gogh’s brush strokes and Charles Schulz’s use of correction fluid up close made me understand and appreciate all art even more.
