Winning elections takes so much more than resisting Donald Trump. It’s about giving people hope that their better days are ahead of them.

That’s why we won big this year, and we’re keeping our foot on the gas into 2026.

@grantbrisbee.bsky.social listening to another fun episode of the Roundtable. It does get a little tired that baseball writers slag on how unpopular baseball is compared to the NBA. Lamenting casual fans don’t know Devers, how many casual fans know who Desmond Bane is? www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...
Grizzlies send Bane to Magic in blockbuster trade
The Grizzlies traded Desmond Bane to the Magic for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, four unprotected first-round picks and one first-round pick swap.

What a fucking psycho. He proudly tells this story? I am breathlessly waiting for all the pundits here to tell me how this is great political messaging. Psychologically “beating” your 8 year old daughter is not something to be proud of. Unfortunately, Trump Vance Musk love it.
VIDEO of Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel:

“My wife's looking at me like I'm a monster, and I was proud of myself. …I just psychologically beat the daylights out of an 8-year-old in the back seat.”

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

Watching this Trump commercial is the height lies. Trump is gutting medical research across the country. Yet his commercial credits him for saving “millions of lives” because of medical cures. What a joke.

the vice president of the united states is a groyper who spends his online time following nazis and esoteric reactionary influencers is true and yet the press seems completely disinterested in it
If you listen to that last clip of the US VP doing the rounds, it does feel like some sort of analysis showing what these people are huffing on the regular is sorely missing from mainstream commentary
This is it. You cannot explain in polite conversation that the higher echelons of US policy making are on personal terms with something called Bronze Age Pervert without yourself sounding like a maniac

Let’s be clear: the whole thing is a con. TikTok could’ve kept the app rolling on Sunday but by shutting down & mentioning Trump, he gets to be the savior. One of many examples of companies & billionaires bowing down.

It’s BS. But it’s also the reality. Let’s not give Trump anymore opportunities 👍🏾

Still wild to me that so many "savvy" folks on left and right have bought into the idea that online misinformation is overblown and doesn't really matter. From lies about migrants to transgender people to crime to election denial to climate denial, it's literally driving our country's politics.
