I know I've done this same maneuver before while cross country skiing, just not in the Olympics. Kudos to her for recovering and Sweden for winning the Team Relay Silver. I think I just stayed on the ground after my crash.

Today is Paczki Day, a traditional day from my Polish heritage where they celebrate the upcoming Lenten season with tasty Paczki, a heavier version of a donut.

My friends from the General Pulaski Association of WNY and the Polish Harmony Dancers stopped by to deliver some delicious blackberry Paczki and to remind everyone the Pulaski Association will be having a fun, festive celebration of Paczki Day tonight from 5-10 PM at St. Teresa's Parish Center at 35 Mineral Springs Road in Buffalo. Stop on by to enjoy free Polish food and plenty of Paczki. Great News! Gov. Hochul announced NYS will invest $30 million towards infrastructure at the Eastern Hills Mall, which will allow Uniland to build a huge Town Center. Erie County already invested $3 million towards the infrastructure design and Uniland is investing hundreds of millions towards it.

Yesterday, Governor Kathy Hochul announced NYS will invest $30 million to update the sewer infrastructure at the site of the Eastern Hills Mall, which will allow Uniland to build a huge Town Center there. Erie County already invested $3 million towards the design of the infrastructure and Uniland is committed to investing hundreds of millions towards it. Thank you Governor Hochul for committing NYS assistance towards this worthy project. Great News! It's #BlackHistoryMonth, and on this date in 1909, the NAACP was founded. Notably, its precursor was the Niagara Movement, a significant early national civil rights association established in Buffalo and Fort Erie by prominent intellectuals in 1905, including Buffalo's own Mary Burnett Talbert.

Today I was pleased to join the team from Niedex and Abnex as they broke ground on their new $15 million 45,000 sq. ft. addition to their advanced manufacturing facility on Hopkins Road in Buffalo.

Niedex makes metal trays for all kinds of purposes, including supporting conduit and IT cables. 1/2

Today, I was honored to join Gov. Kathy Hochul, county executives, district attorneys, sheriffs, and police chiefs to discuss the impact of ICE actions on local communities and law enforcement and how we can protect our counties and constituents. 1/3
oday, I was honored to join Governor Kathy Hochul, county executives, district attorneys, sheriffs, and police chiefs to discuss the impact of ICE actions on local communities and law enforcement and how we can protect our counties and constituents. Governor Hochul's "The Local Cops, Local Crimes Act" is a commonsense way to ensure that our local law enforcement personnel and resources are reserved for use in our communities, policing them according to the law and not subjected to federal overreach such as we are seeing across the country with ICE. Eliminating 287(g) agreements sends a signal to residents that local law enforcement will not be an arm of the federal government and that local detention centers are off-limits to ICE for their immigration raids. The Act also provides protections and remedies for residents whose constitutional rights are violated by federal officers. This Act is timely and very necessary.
