It finally happened. Some rando tried to shame me for having my dog wear a muzzle and told me he wasn't happy in it. Sorry, not sorry lady - I certainly know my own dog better than you, we have our reasons to muzzle, and if he was even remotely uncomfortable, it'd be *painfully* obvious.

So many fucking years of reckoning with so many men being garbage to women. I'd been lucky to avoid it hitting too close to home too many times for a while there, but this last year or so has been a real lesson.

So hey, today is World Urticaria Day. And as this is the first time I've had an awareness day for something I personally suffer from, I'm feeling conflicted about it and a little vulnerable. But yes, chronic hives - didn't know it was a thing until a few months ago, maybe you didn't either.

Every once in a while, I remember that someone I briefly dated long ago messaged me to ask if my current partner would be willing to do a music video for him... And I think he thought it'd be free, because when I sent back a few questions (last of which was "what's your budget?"), he didn't respond.

Always conflicted about what to do w/books I no longer want because the author is a terrible person and I'll never re-read. But I finally dropped the only HP book I owned off at a little free library in my neighborhood. I want to say it felt good but I kinda feel like I dirtied the box.
